A person-centred role

Traditional organizations tend to form a work pattern in which each department differs from another by its occupational specialisation, and in turn, each job is distanced from its peers by its functions. This type of organization is conceived from the quantitative objectives (economic income for example) and moves away from the person who occupies it. This model requires stable and durable positions, as well as a hierarchical structure that often prevents the flexible thinking of processes.

At Kingdom we prefer to work with a scheme thinking of the person as the protagonist of the job and then on qualitative objectives. In this way we design roles that integrate a person including their development – desires – emotions and a job.

Working from this design enables people to have a greater understanding of the organization’s own identity by becoming more and more involved in global goals. It also allows to see clearly the professional making more visible their skills and strengths that are enhanced together with the organization and also generate a dynamism so that a person can move in various jobs.

To achieve all this it is necessary to design a perfect role for each member of the company, thinking about growth for everyone. Surely in addition to having a happy job the person will enhance global communication and productivity.

What does this mean for us? At Kingdom we not only see the goals, but we aim for productivity to surpass them! We eliminate the hierarchical and rigid structure, and seek a democratized decision-making with total transparency so that each person can feel part of something larger “a team”.

We create spaces to learn from functions that we may never do but have the skills and motivation to start. Yes, at Kingdom we allow ourselves to innovate, team up with freedom to create, make mistakes and help the development of the whole Kingdom.

It can be said that working with roles that break a closed and specific job structure generates motivation, growth and development.

We empower all of us who form Kingdom and we are achieving it day by day.
